Subscriber Portal Now Automatically Translated Into 10 Languages

Your subscriber portal now automatically displays in each customer's preferred language — no setup required. Built-in translations for 10 languages, with a picker to switch.

Details

Previously, the subscriber portal was English-only unless you manually filled in translations for every label across 60+ fields. Now, the portal detects each customer's browser language and renders the entire experience in that language automatically. Customers can also override this by choosing a different language from a dropdown in the top-right corner of the portal. Their choice is remembered across visits.

Supported languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazilian), Dutch, Swedish, Danish, and Japanese.

Every part of the portal is covered — subscription details, order history, payment management, delivery address forms, status actions, confirmation dialogs, and error messages all render in the selected language. Dates are also formatted according to the customer's locale.

What merchants can now do

  • Serve international customers without configuring any translations
  • Reach subscribers in 10 languages out of the box
  • Let customers choose their preferred language from a globe icon in the portal navigation
  • Trust that dates, statuses, and action buttons all display correctly in each language

Why this matters

If you sell internationally, your subscribers have been seeing an English-only portal regardless of where they are. That creates friction — customers are less likely to manage their own subscriptions when they can't read the interface, which means more support tickets for you. With automatic translations, your subscribers get a native-language experience from their first visit, making self-service natural and reducing the support burden on your team.
